The famous canned soup industry, Campbell’s, reportedly faced major downfall in profits in its latest fiscal fourth quarter reports.  This is due to a number of product recalls and the high-costing carrot business which had lower sales than expected- all affected the company’s sales to date.

In 2012, the company bought The Bolthouse Farms and followed by Plum Organics in the next year. Its latest acquisition was Garden Fresh Gourmet which it got last year. Hoping to counteract the decreasing sales of the canned soup company, Campbell’s focused on acquiring these brands in the past four years looking to potentially up their sales.
